Transportation Specialist

We at DANX BALTICS is looking for a Transportation Specialist!

Transportation Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of DANX and our customers, controlling the daily traffic and transport costs, and making sure our customers are satisfied with our work. You also make ensure deadlines for the distribution in the exposed area.Transportation Specialist is part of our Daily Operations department. Our team of two in Tallinn Estonia is looking for third member of the team.

Main duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Scheduling transportation services, allocating drivers, and planning routes.
• Monitor daily routes and delivery schedules, and following deviations and delays. Also arranging additional transportation if needed.
• Processing and preparing customer documents and providing updates and reports.
• Ensuring high quality of service and correctness of invoices and pricing AD-HOC requests.
• Ensuring profitable business and making sure we´re following transportation regulations and company policies. Also working together with other members of logistics team to improve overall supply chain performance.
• Liaising between management, subcontractors, drivers and customers.-Any on-time tasks at the request of management.

Language requirement:
Estonian - native/fluent written and spoken
English - fluent written and spoken
Russian – fluent written and spoken
Polish, Lithuanian and/or Latvian - desired

IT:
System experience of working with M365 package, different programs, Spreadsheets and cybersecurity.

Geographical knowledge:
Baltics and central Europe. Understanding geographical data, to be able to evaluate and present it as evidence.

Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Education in logistics and transportation:
Desired, helps you deep-dive into your new role faster, but isn´t an essential qualification for the role: you´re mindset is what takes you further.

Experience of working with clients and/or hauliers.

Willingness to provide operational support outside of business hours:
Our operations happen 24/7 and sometimes there´s an need for additional support also outside of our regular working hours.
