What are you going to do?

  • Handle the subrogation/recourse of paid claims
  • Represent the company in court
  • Outsource recourse cases to debt collection agencies or external lawyers if needed
  • Train and consult colleagues on recourse topics, recoursable cases recognition, liability aspects, collecting and securing evidence, etc.
  • Make sure relevant primary steps on subrogation/recourse have been done correctly
  • Settle disagreements and ensure quality of customer and debtor service
  • Continuously improve subrogation/recourse area
  • Cooperate closely with other units and stakeholders, including product managers, claims handlers and investigators, communication department, sales, etc.

What do we expect from you?

  • University degree in law
  • 2+ years of experience in subrogation/recourse, debt collection or civil liability, including handling cases in court
  • Ability to find and use needed legislation and court practice
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, focus on quality customer service
  • Good level of time management, self-leadership, and emotional resilience
  • Proactivity, attention to detail, collaboration, fairness
  • Fluent spoken and written Estonian and English language skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
