Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain both virtual and physical digital tower infrastructure architecture solution including network with cyber security requirements in mind.
  • Select, qualify, install, configure and administer the computer equipment, including servers, large screens, storage, network and security components, of our solutions.
  • Develop/review the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the infrastructure sub-system, including evaluating the sparing requirements based on customer requirements.
  • Configure the Digital Tower solutions and administer servers, storage, virtual machines & networks necessary to host the software.
  • Develop the infrastructure sections of the system administration, installation and maintenance manuals.
  • Package, automate and document the installation procedures of the software.
  • Lead the hardware infrastructure verification tests and participate in the overall system hardware validation activities, also participate in customer site integration and acceptance testing, including provision of technical training.
  • Post delivery, support our customers in configuring and maintaining our software.
  • Support the infrastructure of our test bed and lab environments.
  • Participate in planning and developing the evolution of our digital tower solutions.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Engineering.
  • Work experience as a professional IT engineer, system engineer or systems administrator for at least 2 years.
  • Proven experience authoring system architecture and interface control documents, experience and understanding of IP networking (routing, VPNs, multicast) and strong knowledge of complex real time system architectures: hardware infrastructure, software client-server application, networks, storage, redundancy, 3rd party integration, etc.
  • Knowledge of software/system design and development life cycles, experience in developing solutions in a mixed operating system (Windows and Linux) and virtualized architecture and knowledge of applicable frameworks, libraries, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Estonian and English language.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams and partners across multiple geographical locations.

It is important to know that the position requires travelling. The candidate must be able to travel to Canada, United States and other countries if it´s needed.
