Job Description

  • Measurements of residual thickness on vessels
  • Technical inspection and detection of damage to ship hull structures (cracks, dents, metal corrosion and thickness measurements using an ultrasonic device)
  • Determination of the technical condition of the ship's hull based on technical inspection and thickness measurements. Drawing up maps of thickness measurements and sketches of damaged areas indicating the overall dimensions of the damaged area
  • Transfer of information about the technical condition of the vessel to the office for the preparation of an official report on the condition of the vessel for the shipowner

Requirements

  • Familiar with a ship's hull structure;
  • Familiar with AutoCad software;
  • English and Russian: conversational and written level;
  • Ready for frequent business trips;
  • Can find a way out of every difficulty and with decision-making ability;
  • Obtained/is getting technical education.
