Test Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity contribute to Motion Business product quality and reliability by developing and operating Accelerated Lifetime Systems and auxiliary testing processes. This role is contributing to the ABB Drives in Jüri, Estonia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ramping up new test systems and retrofitting existing ones
• Holding test equipment technical ownership that includes hardware and control (PLC)
• Reporting faults to product owner and doing rootcause follow-up’s
• Preparing test documentation and conducting tests based on the specifications
• Driving improvement projects related to testing

• Degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Power Electronics or similar work experience
• Interest or experience in taking on leadership role in a team
• Driven by continuous improvement and a willingness to learn
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of PC (e.g. Databases, MS Excel)
• Ability to see the big picture and understanding the influence of selected solutions on the surroundings
