Sustainability is at the core of our company philosophy. We strive to integrate ecological and social responsibility across all aspects of our business and are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Manager to support us on this journey.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: You will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies that impact both our internal production processes and global supply chains, aiming to minimise the environmental and social impact of our operations.
  • Coordination of ESG Projects: As the central point of contact, you will coordinate all activities related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our sustainability goals are integrated and achieved across the entire business.
  • Compliance with Legal Requirements: You will ensure that Opti Group complies with all relevant legislation, including the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). You will monitor compliance and support the company in meeting these regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: You will collect and analyse ESG data to produce comprehensive reports that document progress in sustainability and social responsibility. These reports will be used internally and communicated externally to stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
  • Communication and Training: You will develop communication strategies to effectively convey sustainability initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting training sessions to raise awareness and understanding of sustainability throughout the company.
  • Commitment to Sustainability: You will drive continuous improvement in Opti Group’s sustainability performance and are passionate about implementing sustainable practices in all areas of our business.

Your Profile:

  • Professional Qualifications: You have a strong understanding of sustainability topics, particularly in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) areas. Knowledge of legal requirements such as the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and ESRS is essential.
  • Experience: You have practical experience in implementing sustainability strategies and projects. Experience in data collection and analysis within the context of ESG reporting is an advantage.
  • Coordination Skills: You possess excellent organisational skills and can work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: You are capable of conveying complex issues clearly and convincingly and can produce professional reports and presentations.
  • Commitment: You have a high level of personal commitment and interest in sustainable business practices and pursue set goals with motivation and consistency.
  • Language Skills: English: business proficiency, German: basic/advanced skills (optional)
