Strategy Associate

CMA CGM, a world leader in shipping and logistics, is seeking a Strategy Associate for our Global Business Services (GBS) division. The Strategy Associate will play a pivotal role in defining the future of our GBS operations, driving growth, and expanding the scope across the Americas and Europe.

• Market Monitoring and Analysis: Conduct regular and thorough analysis of GBS-related trends and developments in Europe and the Americas. This includes monitoring cost-of-living changes, talent supply shifts, government incentive policies, and competitor activities.
• Location Strategy: Lead strategic efforts for geographical expansion of GBS, performing deep market analysis and providing actionable recommendations for new locations in Europe and the Americas.
• Best Practices Analysis: Evaluate best practices from industry-leading GBS operations. Provide clear, actionable recommendations to the GBS management team to set new standards and expand the scope of our operations.
• Leadership Network Development: Develop and maintain a robust network of GBS practitioners, including heads of shared service centers, experienced delivery heads, transformation leaders, and subject-matter experts/consultants.

• Experience in consultancy or strategic planning is a plus, ideally within the GBS or related industries.
• Master's degree, ideally in Business Administration or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic actions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior management and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
• Estonian or EU citizen or hold a long term residence permit.
