Senior Gaming Developer (Unity)

Cocone is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Game Developer to join our dynamic team in creating innovative and engaging games using the Unity engine. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our game projects and contributing to our company’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize game mechanics, combat systems, and character abilities.

• Develop and optimize new features and components for mobile games using Unity

• Ensure high-quality standards, achieving results that align with project goals and timelines

• Optimize game performance and ensure high-quality, bug-free code

• Serve as a technical lead for a small team of developers when needed

• Provide technical insight for new projects, assessing resources, staffing, and time requirements

• Continuously learn and share the latest trends and innovations within your area of expertise

• Collaborate across teams and departments, sharing knowledge and insights

• Maintain comprehensive documentation

• Support hiring activities and evaluate potential team members and suppliers

• Implement and manage multiplayer game functionality using Firebase

• 8+ years of professional experience in mobile game development

• Proficiency in C++,C#, Unity, Unreal Engine, and version control systems (such as Perforce or Git)

• Experience in third-party SDK integration

• knowledge of design patterns

• Background in shaders or rendering optimization in Unreal / Unity is a plus

• Multiplayer experience is a plus

• Strong leadership capabilities with a proactive, independent approach

• Advanced proficiency in English

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Authentication for multiplayer game development
