Senior accountant

Main responsibilities:

• processing and reconciling Record to Report related reconciliations, journals and other related items;
• performing period-end closing activities, adjustments and reporting, creating and posting journal entries, reconciliation of accounting/reporting transactions and creating and filing statutory authority reports;
• preparing necessary quarter and annual financial statements;
• preparing materials for audits and working with auditors during the audits;
• preparing and testing internal controls;
• participating in process development and FS development projects when needed;
• supporting other teams with accounting related processes, reconciliations and requirements.

What we would like from you:

• accounting-related education and good knowledge of local statutory requirements - knowing Finnish accounting standards is an advantage;
• 3-5 years of previous work experience in accounting;
• good knowledge of statutory tax requirements;
• good verbal and and written communication skills in English, Finnish is an advantage;
• development mindset and proactivity in seeking ways to improve efficiency in own work;
• MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word);
• experience with one or several accounting software(s) - SAP experience is an advantage.
