PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Job Description
Responsibilities include coordination and implementation of ongoing and upcoming civic engagement, citizen participation and international exchange projects. The Program Assistant position involves providing support for program activities, including planning, logistical coordination and administrative duties including:
- Assisting in planning and coordinating logistics for offline and online training and events;
- Assisting in developing regular event and meeting reports, contributing to periodic progress reports for donors;
- Tracking contracts, reports and invoices;
- Analyzing SMM activity and media projects in terms of success, visibility and audience engagement;
- Knowledge in the analysis and collecting data from different sources including OSINT;
- Conducting outreach and cooperation with program partners on an ongoing basis;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Russian and English);
- Assisting with the development of project concepts, timelines and budgets;
- Reading news and updates in various activists channels and keep an eye on new potential organizations, initiatives, speakers;
- Providing political, media and other background research to support programs;
- Performing other programmatic and administrative tasks as necessary.
Requirements
- Native Russian language proficiency;
- Fluency in English (verbal and written);
- Education in management, SMM, and sociology is appreciated
- Work permission in Estonia;
- Experience coordinating logistics, planning events and meetings is appreciated;
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of international affairs, politics, elections and civil society;
- Proactively demonstrating ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team;
- Knowledge and experience with online learning platforms is a plus.
- Passion for civic engagement, community development, and social impact.
