Job Description
An international NGO is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill a full-time position of Program Assistant in its Tallinn office.
Providing support in overall implementation of civic engagement programs, including supporting multimedia online platform.
- Provide support in planning and coordinating logistics for in person and online training and events
- Maintain communication with potential speakers and experts for the online media platform
- Fulfill various technical tasks related to regular events on online platform (dry runs with speakers, placing announcements on social media, etc).
- Develop draft documents, including contracts, agreements, invoices.
- Contribute to writing field and activity reports
- Translate program materials from Russian to English and English to Russian, as necessary;
- Assist with the development of project concepts, timelines and budgets
- Monitor various social media channels, platforms to identify potential partners and ideas for online media platform
- Providing political, media and other background research to support programs;
- Performing other tasks as necessary.
Requirements
Fluency in English and Russian (verbal and written);
Ability to translate from English to Russian and Russian to English;
Experience coordinating logistics, planning events and meetings;
Experience working with non-profit or international organizations would be a plus;
Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of international affairs, politics, elections and civil society;
BA in international relations or close fields would be a plus;
A team player with positive attitude
Punctuality, literacy and politeness.
Compensation: commensurate with experience;
