Product Specialist

We are looking for proactive product & procurement manager in travel company to lead our procurement needs. You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring process optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. Product & Procurement manager specializes in implementing cost-effective decisions as required by the company.

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective 
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
• Negotiating with existing and new suppliers to secure advantageous terms
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers by personal interaction
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Updating existing and creating new travel products & services across Nordics based on company’s client base and latest trends
• Updating pricelists for company’s sales department
• Creating sales catalogues for partner agencies
• Content creating and making sure it is up to date in company’s sales channels

• Bachelor’s degree in management or hospitality business
• Knowladge of the Nordic destinations is a plus 
• Proven experience managing operations. Experience in travel business is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
• Leadership and negotiation skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English. Other languages is an advantage
