
Job Description
As an Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate the best and most cost-effective contracts and deals
- Collaborate with internal clients to understand their procurement needs and draw up the right assignments for procurements
- Analyse all quotation offers to ensure the best one with the most favorable terms
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Conduct product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
- Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities
- Establish professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers
- Create and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, finance or supply management
- +5 years’ proven experience in procurement and vendor management
- In depth knowledge of business communications, principles of management, business law for commercial transactions, marketing management and strategic management
- Experience in solving purchasing and inventory related problems in different markets
- The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment
- Familiarity with procurement software and supply chain management systems
- Experience in import-export routines
- Confident user of ERP systems and strong knowledge in standard costing
- Estonian, Russian and English proficiency essential
