Payment Operations Risk & Controls Specialist - Access Management

We’re looking for PayOps Risk & Controls Specialists for Access Management to join our growing team in Tallinn.

Your mission is to identify operational risks and controls, working with operational, product and other teams to coordinate assessment, mitigation and monitoring of risks. You’ll drive risk awareness culture within the Payment Operations and across the company. Your primary focus will be on access management topics. You will ensure that Payment Operations accesses are fit for purpose, risks are mapped and residual risk is low. Your focus will be on risk mitigation initiatives across different Payment Operations teams and you’re expected to drive projects that impact the whole organisation.

Here’s how you’ll add value to the team:

• Ensure role groups are mapped and are fit for purpose
• Oversee access requests
• Conduct risk assessments on access management topics
• Identify opportunities to improve access management in Payment operations
• Drive risk awareness across Payment Operations and ensuring alignment across the whole organisation;
• Cooperate with various other teams in Wise, including Risk, Compliance, Finance;
• Drive risk mitigation projects and ensuring their timely completion;
• Perform monitoring routines over various topics, reporting the results;

• You're experienced in access management domain and can prove it.
• You're experienced in risk domain and in operational risks in particular is a bonus.
• You’re data-driven, able to prioritise the value add, measure the impact and have a proven track record of moving metrics and reaching your KPI goals.
• You’re comfortable with performing regular and routine daily tasks. You have a keen eye for detail and are resilient when facing difficult tasks.
• You're experienced as a project manager and are able to drive larger projects.
• You take responsibility for your domain and take initiative.
• You’re a great communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills. You’ll quickly pick up on how best to communicate effectively across different audiences, and when either giving or receiving feedback.
• You can explain problems clearly and include others in the team to discuss solutions. You’re able to persuade others and you aren’t afraid to challenge something when you need to.
• You're experienced in working across different teams, from operational, product development to external partners, and you're comfortable taking responsibility in challenging situations.
• Your intellectual curiosity has no limit and this is your guiding light. You have the self-awareness to understand when you don’t know something and the humility to learn.
