GoMore is Europe’s leading peer-to-peer car-sharing platform. We help a fast-growing community of 2.7 million people share cars across seven countries and have been in business for more than 10 years. We do this to reduce the number of cars on our streets, improve our climate footprint, and generate space in today’s car-congested cities.

We have just opened Estonia successfully as our 7th European GoMore-country and are now focusing on learning and growing our newest market.  

What’s the job about?

We are looking for a full-time Estonian Market Specialist to help our members to share cars and engage with other local stakeholders in Estonia. This position is available due to our current market specialist being on parental leave, but for the right candidate, we are ready to offer a permanent contract from day one!

You would work from our brand-new Helsinki office with our combined Finland & Estonian team of 10 professionals. You would report to the Head of Finland and Estonia, who supports you in spearheading our Estonian operations.  As the Specialist of “all things Estonian” at GoMore, you would work and get support also from other markets and functions.  

What exactly would you be doing?

Customer Care (~40-60% of the work): Handle all inbound and outbound contacts from new and prospective members in the market. The primary tools for this are phone, email, chat and our CRM system.

User onboarding & lead handling (~20-40% of the work): Onboard new car owners who sign up to the platform and introduce them to our GoMore Keyless concept. Reach out to owners interested in our Keyless concept. Drive new members towards the platform based on email, SMS and phone campaigns.

Build and manage local partnerships (~5-10% of the work): Build and manage local relationships with relevant Estonian stakeholders, such as Keyless-installation partners, business rentals, public affairs, media and potential partnerships. 

Market understanding (~5-10% of the work): Be the expert in understanding the customers’ and other stakeholders’ needs and wants in Estonia. Have your “finger on the pulse” regarding what’s going on in the market, especially in Tallinn, and use that local insight to grow the business together with GoMore commercial and marketing teams.

Administration and management (~5% of the work): Own all tools, processes, and ad-hoc tasks related to running the Estonian operations, customer care and customer experience primarily. You will get support from our support functions and your leader, but you would take the responsibility that operations run smoothly.

Communication and marketing (~5% of the work): Localize and produce written content for newsletters and digital marketing. As our Estonian expert no. #1, you’d also contribute to our local PR activities.

What kind of a person and skills are we looking for:

 

  • Strong customer skills and an innate drive to provide best in class-customer care.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and positively to members as well as internally to colleagues.

  • Ability to take operational decisions based on analysis.

  • Is courageous and thrives in dynamic work.

  • Doer “get things done” mentality and will to build a novel service in a relatively new market. 

  • Has strong prioritization skills based on urgency and business goals.  

  • Ability to take responsibility and ownership quickly. You would be running the Estonian day-to-day operations with a lot of independent responsibility and freedom.

  • Highly skilled in Estonian language, both spoken and written.

  • Strong in English language, both spoken and written

  • Russian language skills are considered a plus, but not a strong requirement

  • Willingness to work physically from our Helsinki office for the minimum 4–6-month onboarding period. After a successful onboarding there is a possibility for a flexible hybrid work that allows residing also in Estonia.

    Note!

    • In case the person selected for the job resides in Estonia, the employer may pay for the housing in Helsinki during the onboarding period.

    • After the onboarding period the employer may also pay for the required ferry trips to Helsinki.

    • Both of these benefits shall be agreed separately between GoMore and the person selected for the position.

We interview applicants on an ongoing basis and hope to find a suitable candidate for the position as soon as possible. Our recruitment process follows the following structure and schedule:

1. We will reach out to 10-20 of the most promising applicants within one week of receiving the application and have introductory call.
2. We will proceed with 5-10 of the most suitable candidates to a 1-hour live interview, which will be held at our office in Kamppi, Helsinki. This will normally take place around 1 week after the application is received, but we like to move even faster.
3. We will conduct a case task with the top 3 candidates at our office in Kamppi. At this stage, candidates will also have the opportunity to meet the team. This is planned to take place within one week after the previous stage.
4. We will make a recruitment decision within 1 day to 1 week of the case interview. We will inform all candidates who reached this stage of the decision by phone.
