Job Description
Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate & monitor Supply Chain/Logistics operations for Linde Engineering global projects
- Communicate with suppliers & internal interface departments etc. to achieve best supply solution for the projects
- Manage Logistics Service Suppliers to ensure deliveries in time, budget & quality
- Prepare & coordinate packing & shipping of goods incl. data administration in SAP.
- Plan & track the shipment of goods according to internal procedures and customer requirements
- Meet cost, productivity & timeline targets
Requirements
- Education in freight forwarding/transport/shipping/logistics/supply chain, or relevant field
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding /transport and/or shipping company.
- Knowledge of transport/shipping related laws & regulations
- Computer‐savvy ideally with SAP knowledge
- Good English, both written and spoken.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
