Logistics and Travel Coordinator (Temporary)

Job Description

Supports the Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager of the Baltic Computer Forensics Training Program (a program that provides cyber investigations training to law enforcement entities of the governments of Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland) with all logistical items, including, travel to courses, transportation, lodging, etc. 

  • Ensures all logistical aspects of setting up the training are covered for each course.
  • Prepares and maintains reports detailing course types offered, attendees and instructors, expenses, feedback forms, etc.
  • Performs some liaison duties on behalf of the Program Manager with regional law enforcement entities.
  • Maintains close working relationships with key entities of the various US Embassies.
  • Assists the Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager with ensuring all materials and equipment needed by each course are set up as available as required.
  • Travels occasionally to assist with the program needs within the region.
  • Answers questions and provides additional resources for the program course attendees.

This is a temporary position for 2 years with a possible extension to 5 years.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry or in travel coordination and as an administrative assistant in an office setting.
  • English Level IV Fluent Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
  • Estonian level IV Fluent Reading/Writing/speaking is required. 
  • Must have a working knowledge of the hospitality business and travel industry.
  • Understanding how to arrange travel logistics.
  • Effective communication with vendors (hotels, caterers etc) is important.
  • Advanced level of MS Office skills.
  • Ability to prioritize different tasks and work under pressure.
  • Ability to organize people and events.
  • Accuracy with numbers and data.
