The NyxAir fleet is comprised of highly-reliable and fuel-efficient ATR and SAAB aircraft, both in commercial and cargo versions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the NyxAir Part-145 maintenance department to meet all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the NyxAir MOE, maintenance facilities and equipment meet required EASA Part-145 standards.
- Supervise and monitor standards of workmanship to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance actions to ensure aircraft airworthiness, safety and availability.
- Manage and improve maintenance actions for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Oversee continuation training for maintenance staff to ensure continuous improvement.
- Develop and control the company’s Safety Management System.
- Ensure accurate and timely production planning to minimize costly downtime.
Personal requirements
- Right to live and work in the EU.
- Bachelors degree in Aeronautics Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements: Part-145; Part-CAMO; Human Factors Training; Fuel Tank Safety ; EWIS; Safety Management Systems.
- Minimum of five years relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years managerial experience.
- Collaborative team player with strong leadership, conflict management and communication skills.
- English language capability to read and fully comprehend applicable international regulations, standards and aircraft maintenance manuals.
- Be able to pass all security checks.
- Advantageous - EASA Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence with category B1.
- Advantageous - Knowledge of the regional turboprop aircraft types.
- Advantageous - willing to relocate to Tallinn, Estonia.
