In this role, you will uphold high product standards by methodically resolving quality issues, enhancing production processes, and fostering continuous improvement within your area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: onsite #LIonsite
You will mainly be accountable for:
- Handle quality issues systematically to maintain high ABB product standards and prevent disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure effective use of control plans and PFMEAs to minimize risks in production and new product processes.
- Manage qualification processes to reduce risks and costs in new product introductions or improvement projects.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and develop improvement plans based on findings.
- Assess quality control efficiency and establish appropriate inspection plans.
- Collaborate across functions to enhance quality systems and procedures.
Qualifications for the role
- Higher education in engineering.
- Proper experience in quality assurance and quality control processes and tools.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and "will-do" attitude
- Good communication skills in English and Estonian. The Russian language is an advantage.
