Kantar Emor's 2024 Research: CVKeskus.ee Job Site is Estonia's Top Job Search Channel

According to Kantar Emor's latest survey, 2/3 of employees in Estonia use CVKeskus.ee to look for job opportunities, maintaining its position as the most popular job site across all professional groups and industries.

Kantar Emor once again examined employees' preferences for job searches, identifying the main channels where people look for job offers. This year's study involved 1,825 employees (with an accuracy of ±2%).

CVKeskus.ee job site emerged again as the preferred job search channel, being the most popular in Estonia across all professional groups (managers, technical, business, management and other specialists, service workers, skilled and unskilled workers) and sectors (industry and construction, services, public sector).

Key Findings of the 2024 Research:

CVKeskus.ee job site is the main source for job seeking across all professions

Across professional groups, CVKeskus.ee job portal was chosen as the main job search channel by 71% of business or management specialists, 80% of service workers, 64% of skilled workers, and 64% of technical specialists.

Kantar Emor survey reveals that in the capital of Estonia and its surrounding areas, 69% of employees start their job search from the CVKeskus.ee job portal.

Kantar Emor survey revealed the most preferred job search channels of employees

Employees' second main job search channel is direct contacts, i.e., acquaintances, friends, and relatives. The third channel mentioned by respondents was the CV Online job portal, according to Kantar Emor's data. A fifth of respondents also look for job offers on companies' social media channels and the Unemployment Insurance Fund (22% and 20% respectively), 16% on company websites or LinkedIn, 12% in newspapers and magazines, 7% inquire directly from recruitment specialists, and 2% of employees use MeetFrank and similar applications.

About the Research

A total of 1,825 employees responded to Kantar Emor’s survey, which means that the accuracy of the results among the Estonian workforce is as much as ±2%.
