Job Description
We are looking for a talented Junior Full Stack PHP Developer to design, develop, and enhance system components across backend and frontend. You will:
- develop reliable and secure solutions using modern technologies and best practices;
- actively participate in improving the architecture and optimizing performance;
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years in PHP, using PHP 7+ (preferably PHP 8) and Composer.
- Strong understanding of MVC, OOP and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of PHP security practices: data protection, SQL injection, XSS attacks.
- Understanding of testing principles and willingness to write unit tests using PHPUnit.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases; MS SQL experience preferred.
- Skills in query optimization, indexing, and data structuring.
- Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Teamwork and Communication:
- Fluent Russian/English
- Effective in collaborative environments and cross-functional interactions.
- Problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and experience with Agile (Scrum).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony).
- Basic knowledge of Docker: containers, docker-compose, local environments.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and scalable system architecture.
- Willingness to research solutions and improve existing systems to meet evolving needs.
