Job Description

Support the Director of the Business Unit by delivering leading edge engineering solutions.
Manage the personnel of the Department’s Engineering Team via performance management, development planning, recruitment, recommending progression & promotions, mentoring and coaching.
Supervise the work of the Department’s Engineering Team to ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of engineering and technical solutions.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms and ensure the quality of the delivered solutions through sound development, documentation, testing and verification processes.
Represent the company and product at industry events, by meeting with customers, and 3rd party partners.
Support the Business Unit by providing engineering input for strategic planning, product planning (Roadmap), sales, budgetary requirements, work estimates, technical constraints, and other relevant requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
7+ years of combined Software/System Development experience and 3+ years of managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies, applicable programming languages, frameworks, libraries, and API’s. Knowledge of O365 and Linux products and familiarity with the AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
Proficiency in Estonian and English language.
A collaborative and hands-on mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams and partners across multiple geographical locations.

It is important to know that the position requires travelling. The candidate must be able to travel to Canada, United States and other countries if it´s needed.
