Financial Analyst

We are looking for an all-rounder Analyst with a passion for learning and growth. This role offers a mix of operational tasks and ad-hoc analytical exercises, with an expectation that you can help us to streamline and minimise the routine tasks to create more exciting opportunities.

Get ready to:
- Prepare financial analysis, interpret and explain data;
- Write and review regulatory planning documents (business continuity, strategy);
- Create insightful reports and present the conclusions to the management;
- Help us to prepare for internal and external regulatory meetings (liaising with stakeholders, putting together presentations, presenting and taking minutes in the C-suite committees);
- Work closely with the EU and Latvian regulators on new initiatives;
- Collaborate with colleagues in IT, Finance, Risk.

- Experience in banking or finance is a strong advantage;
- A degree in the field of business, economics, mathematics or IT;
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Ability to prepare analysis and to explain it to colleagues;
- Understanding of a bank's balance sheet & main operations;
- At least basic level in SQL;
- A proactive problem solver with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn on the job;
- Knowledge of banking regulations is an advantage;
- Proficiency in English and local language.
