DIRECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER

This position is part of the Global Direct Procurement team and is responsible for handling Acino’s end to end sourcing operations for assigned direct spend portfolio ensuring product availability for our manufacturing network at a competitive price with strict adherence to quality, compliance, and sustainability standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive procurement activities, including demand analysis and supplier selection in compliance with the RFx process.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials and logistic services.
• Identify opportunities for process and cost optimization in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
• Manage supplier performance and foster continuous improvement projects with suppliers.
• Manage global Tenders and Negotiate Global Conditions and Contracts with Global Suppliers.
• Contribute to target setting and be responsible for achieving year-on-year cost reduction and supply performance targets (OTIF, inventory level and back orders).
• Contribute to the development of the end-to-end source to pay expertise and drive Procurement Excellence across the regional procurement teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Category Management.
• Proficiency in English and Estonian.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
• Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
• Working well independently, but also with teams across regions.
• Knowledge of GMP practices and business processes within pharmaceutical operations is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system is an asset.
