Requirements: Core Technical Skills

• PHP & Symfony 6.4 – Strong back-end experience with PHP and Symfony. You should be comfortable working with object-oriented PHP, dependency injection, and writing maintainable code.
• REST API Development – Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring efficiency and security.
• Databases – Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases:
  • MariaDB 10.9 – Writing optimized queries, working with indexing, transactions, and database migrations.
  • MongoDB 6.0 – Understanding document-based data storage and querying.
  • ElasticSearch 8.2 – Implementing efficient full-text search capabilities.
  • Vertica 9.3 – Experience with analytical databases is a plus.
• Caching & Performance Optimization – Familiarity with:
  • Memcached for caching and performance tuning.
  • Best practices for optimizing application performance.
• Message Queues & Background Processing – Familiarity with:
  • Beanstalk or similar job queues for handling asynchronous tasks.
  • RabbitMQ for message brokering.
  • Redis (pub/sub mechanism) for caching and event-driven communication.
• Search Engines – Basic knowledge of Sphinx or similar full-text search engines for implementing efficient search functionality.
• Testing & CI/CD – Experience with integration testing (Codeception), Playwright, and automated deployment tools like TeamCity.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Basic JavaScript knowledge with an interest in learning React 18.2 (Next.js) or VueJS, Graylog, Rollbar for logging and monitoring. PHPcs, PHPStan, PHPMd for code quality enforcement.

Education & Experience

• Degree (Preferred but Not Mandatory): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2-4 years of professional experience in full-stack or back-end development.
