Your COOL role

Your main responsibility will be to take ownership of around 100+ PostgreSQL databases, monitor, suggest improvements and work towards these improvements together with small development and operations teams.

• Experience in administering production RDBMS
• Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
• Ability to program automation tasks
• Be comfortable working in *NIX environments
• Passion for databases and open source tools

Cool daily tasks include

• Database performance monitoring and suggestions for tuning
• Working towards improvements for backup and recovery procedures
• Working towards improvements for High Availability
• Communicate and clarify requirements
• Take part in improving overall data architecture

• Monthly salary range: 2000€-4000€ gross (depending on experience and skills)
