Job Description
We are looking for a Cyber Range Engineer to join our team, who is responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge cyber ranges. If you're passionate about contributing to the cyber defense efforts of Estonia, the EU, and NATO, we would love to have you on board!
Key responsibilities:
- Automating and managing cyber range infrastructure and virtual environments.
- Configuring networking, systems monitoring, and implementing security solutions.
- Participating in and supporting the preparation cyber ranges for exercises and events.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Engaging in international cooperation and participating in exercises.
The ideal candidate has:
- An IT-related degree or relevant experience in a similar field.
- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Foreman) and CI/CD solutions.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMWare, OpenStack, Proxmox...) and various networking technologies (Openvswitch, nsx).
- Strong, hands-on experience working with Linux-based systems.
- Proficiency in English (at least B2 level), and Estonian language is a plus
- Eagerness to learn many new technologies and techniques
- Readiness to work in a team and collaborate across domains
- Willingness to apply for a security clearance.
