Job Description
Your tasks: The main responsibility of Costing Engineer is to manage Bill of Materials (BOM) in quotations in PKC Europe and South America region.
Main tasks include:
- Creating the Bill of Material (BOM) based on customer designs and standards
- Handling material data and structures
- Identifying open technical topics and questions regarding structures and components
- Manage customer engineering product changes and responsibility for communication
- Follow agreed processes for Material Code creation, Standard Time System, Request for Quotation (RFQ) Process and Engineering Change Order (ECO) Process and develop current processes further.
Requirements
Your profile:
- Higher education will be the advantage
- Earlier work experience in similar role in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process and components is strong advantage
- Strong in problem solving and proactive mindset
- Ability to quickly analyze data and present conclusions
- Enthusiastic and pleasant personality, can-do attitude and excellent team working skills
- Fluency in English language both in written and spoken
