Chief accountant

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. You will be responsible for handling financial data, closing the books monthly, performing reconciliations, and adhering to internal control processes. Additionally, you will manage monthly reporting to Ramirent Group, VAT reporting, prepare data for annual reports, collaborate with consultants for CIT, and participate in various financial processes to support the organization’s growth and compliance. 

You are a great fit for this position if you have Chief Accountant experience (with IFRS knowledge) and a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar. You are competent in using MS tools, ERP software (MD 365 BC); you are fluent in English (Norwegian is an advantage). We expect you to be a team player eager to share your experience and learn new things. To support the customer (currently a Norwegian business entity) you are expected to collaborate closely with CFO and local finance team; you are the main contact for local business for communication with SSC.
