Job Description

As an Accountant at Ampler you will be responsible for daily accounting activities and making sure that the monthly closing process will go smoothly. Your tasks will include processing accounts payables/receivables, bank and credit card transactions, and being part of other various accounting tasks. You will be collaborating with all the departments of Ampler to ensure accurate financial reporting.

About the role:

In this role you will be working side by side together with our Head of Accounting, and you’ll mostly focus on:

  • overseeing and managing AR and AP processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • handling, checking, and managing purchase invoices for multiple entities;
  • assisting the Head of Accounting with the preparation of financial reports and ensuring data is up to date and accurate;
  • performing daily reviews of company balances to ensure that records are accurate and transactions are in order;
  • creating and issuing sales invoices, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards;
  • supporting the period-end close process, including reconciliations and preparing necessary reports.

Requirements

You will succeed in this role if you have previous experience as an Accountant. Knowledge in different accounting softwares will come in handy, experience with Merit Aktiva and Directo would be a big bonus! Also, you will need good Excel skills, and should have an understanding of basic accounting proceduresEstonian GAAP, and applicable regulations.

You will fit right in if you have a "Can-do" attitude, self-management skills and an analytical and creative mind to find solutions for complicated problems. We are looking for a good communicator, a highly detail-oriented team player, and a quick learner, who is able to work independently and prioritise tasks. For this position it is important to excel in both English and Estonian language.

It’s a big plus if you have some knowledge of German or German legislations, as we work with partners across multiple countries in Europe.
