A CREDIT ANALYST to BSH Home Appliances

Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Credit Analyst, your task will be to pro-actively manage the customer credit risk exposure of BSH and help to further develop our tools and processes.

You will report to the Head of Credit Management and collaborate closely with various internal departments, sales teams, insurance, and credit rating companies, as well as our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  

  • Credit decisions: Assess the creditworthiness of corporate customers and make independent credit decisions within your own credit approval limits. Prepare and present more complex credit analyses to top management decision-makers.
  • Forecasting: Estimate future credit limit needs and pro-actively steer credit limit requests to avoid unnecessary order blocks.
  • Contract Review: Be part of customer contract reviews and check financial subjects such as payment terms in all customer contracts.
  • Close collaboration with Sales to discuss customer risks, payment behaviors and future developments. 

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE 

Background & skills 

  • Education: Academic degree in economics and/or a diploma as a Credit Controller.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in credit management, SAP S4, and MS Office.
  • Languages: Advanced knowledge of English; proficiency in Scandinavian languages is a benefit. 

Personality 

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys connecting with diverse individuals and working towards sustainable solutions.
  • Experienced in international, cross-functional, and cross-cultural projects and teams.
  • Hands-on problem solver with the ability to quickly gather information, identify root problems, and implement action plans.
