Operations Officer

Join our international operations team as an Operations Officer to ensure smooth equipment loading and discharging for our vessels! You’ll collaborate with vendors, partners, local authorities, and CMA CGM Group offices, playing a key role in managing the operations process for our deep-sea and Intra-European volumes. 

Your main duties will include: 

• Timely and accurate response to queries in English 
• Take ownership of issues and proactively solve them, escalating as necessary while keeping supervisors informed of actions taken. 
• Communicate efficiently with other departments, vendors, partners, and local authorities to ensure seamless operations. 
• Ensure smooth data flow between departments such as agencies around the world and teams in HO Marseille including Cargo Flow. 
• Accurate and timely data entry for vessel load lists, hazardous items, reefer items, and port operations handling. 
• Monitor and report on veterinary cargo to ensure it sails on time. 
• Manage inter-terminal transfers, ensuring timely requests and follow-ups. 
• Monitor feeder and deep-sea vessel schedules to ensure accurate loading and discharging data. 
• Ensure timely vessel closure and inform relevant departments about cargo status. 
• Provide training and mentoring to new team members. 
• Highlight deviations from standard operating procedures and maintain logs and KPI reports.

We are looking for you if you: 

• Are fluent in English language 
• Are Estonian or EU citizen or hold a long-term residence permit 
• Have experience working in a team 
• Have a good grasp of MS Office suite 
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure 
• Have good time management skills and attention to details

Working time is from Monday to Friday from 9:00-18:00 or 10:00-19:00 (includes 1 hour lunch)
